Participatory projects, sound and light installation, dimension variable, 2017
In collaboration with Yiu-Chang Lin (林佑蒼) and Robin Hsieh (謝宗翰).
In this work, participants were invited to share stories about specific places in Berlin that are meaningful to them. An interactive robot, as a personalized embodiment of each single participant, was installed at the physical location to tell their stories— not in a linear structure but in an interactive manner— when people walk by. In the mechanic monotonous voice, I hope the passersby would enjoy the beauty of each story as I do, as well as the fun of “treasure-hunting” and interacting with the robot.
